Getting there: Bus number 409 departs the airport every 15 minutes for Varna city centre, St Constantine, and Golden Sands. Tickets are purchased onboard and cost BGN 0.60-BGN 1.80 (€0.30-€90). Taxis wait outside Terminal 4 International Arrivals. A taxi to the city centre costs BGN 6-BGN 16 (€3-€8) and the journey takes around 15 minutes. All prices subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the highway and turn left at the Cathedral traffic lights. Turn right at the third set of traffic lights and then left at the next set of traffic lights. Continue northwards with the Marine Garden on the right-hand side. Turn right to St. St. Konstantin and Helena Resort.
Getting around: Varna can be easily explored on foot or using the network of buses and trolleybuses serving the city. There are regular public buses from Varna bus station to the Black Sea coastal resorts. Buses and trains connect Varna with all major cities in Bulgaria. A car would be useful for exploring the Bulgarian countryside.
