Sofia Airport (SOF): Approximate driving time to Kolikovski Hotel is 20 minutes and distance is 10 kilometres (6.5 miles).
Getting there: Bus number 84 runs to Sofia city centre every 10-25 minutes from 5 AM to 11 PM. Tickets can be purchased from the kiosk at the bus stop. A supplement is charged per piece of luggage. Taxis depart from the rank in front of the arrivals hall; the fare to Hotel Kolikovski is €10. A private shuttle service can be arranged through the hotel at a cost of €15. All prices subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport take Brusseles Boulevard and then turn right onto Boulevard Tzarigradsko Shosse (towards Istanbul). On reaching Sofia University turn left onto Vassil Levski Boulevard. After two sets of traffic lights take Anguel Kanchev Street, take the second left, Neofit Riilski Street, and then the first left is Hristo Belchev Street. Hotel Kolikovski is down this street on the right.
Getting around: Sofia is well served by buses, trolleybuses, trams and an underground metro line. Tickets must be validated upon boarding. Private minibuses that follow fixed routes are also available. Taxis are reasonably priced but make sure the driver switches the meter on.
