Getting there:Bus number 84 runs to Sofia city centre every 10-25 minutes from 5 AM to 11 PM. Tickets can be purchased from the kiosk at the bus stop and cost BGL 0.50; a supplement is charged per piece of luggage. Taxis depart from the rank in front of the arrivals hall; the fare to the city is BGL 6-8. All prices subject to change.
Driving directions:From the airport follow the Tsarigradsko Shosse Expressway and turn left at the Yavorov Alley junction. Continue past the TV tower into the Lozenets Residential Area.
Getting around: Sofia is well served by buses, trolleybuses, trams and an underground metro line. Tickets must be validated upon boarding. Private minibuses that follow fixed routes are also available. Taxis are reasonably priced, but make sure the driver switches the meter on.
