Varna International Airport (VAR): Approximate driving time to Hotel Perunika is 35 minutes and distance is 24 kilometres (15 miles).
Getting there: Taxis wait outside Terminal 4 (International Arrivals), and a taxi to the hotel will cost around BGN 30 (€15). Alternatively, bus number 409 departs the airport every 15 minutes for Varna city centre, St Constantine and Golden Sands. Tickets are purchased on board and cost BGN 0.60–1.80 (€0.30–0.90). All prices subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow the highway to Varna city. From there, take the coast road to Golden Sands.
Getting around: Golden Sands can be easily explored on foot and the hotel can advise on bicycle hire. Regular public buses run from Golden Sands to other Black Sea coastal resorts and to Varna bus station. A car would be useful for exploring the Bulgarian countryside.
